Edmond makes it happen ...
Last December there was "an exciting day for a colleague and for me, the media center Rheinland made a film about the use of Edmond-media in teaching Edmond is - even if the name suggests - no person, but an acronym.. Electronic distribution of educational media on demand, we should show innovative use of films that we have downloaded from Edmond The selection of films, audio texts and also in software is quite good, the search and download design is but as something awkward, in view of the formats offered.
My colleague has installed the movies in a Moodle course and shows with the students Biology teaching: on the basis of appropriate films is clear what effect drugs have on the human organism. I've thought of a station work, which can see the students at different stations films to the First World War on their own iPods or iPhones, in order thus to provide a first cinematic impression of the conditions of the war, and war history. At each station, two units each with two headphones are ready, you can see where each station a different film. Developed so gradually a digital mosaic of the First World War. Of course, there are two stations that are equipped with non-electronic media, including addressing War with the famous painting by Otto Dix. The evaluation of the results is on the Smart Board. Some of it has purchased the school happily. Thus, for all to see, such as the Alliance situation before the war on a digital map, indicate "-.. If my post in December 2009
Now, finally, the films are finished and you can imagine the Biology and the history film view. The biology example, I think have succeeded very well in my history class, one wonders, however, whether Shakespeare was ("Much ado about nothing") a bit too literally. Also, there's also some nice other ideas . In spite of everything: Have fun!
